Trucks Save Money with I-PASS

I-PASS reduces travel times and saves money.

  • Truckers who currently use I-PASS are reducing their travel time by up to 20 minutes for a round trip (on the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294/I-80) between Indiana and Wisconsin as an example).
  • By spending less time on the road in traffic, truckers can spend less on fueling and operating their rigs.
  • Truckers save $25 for every 15-minute reduction in trip time (Midwest Truckers Association). For example, truckers can save as much as $333 per month if they take 10 round trips using I-PASS on the full length of the Tri-State Tollway (I-94/I-294/I-80).
  • Savings due to less wear and tear on vehicles (engines, tires, etc.) caused by harsh braking and acceleration.

PrePass Plus is a weigh station bypass system and an electronic tolling solution. It combines all the amenities of PrePass with an electronic tolling feature.
